Reading Is Fundamental

This poster series is about inspiring children to read and discover the magic of it, and portrays how reading sparks creativity and imagination in young minds. Each design highlights the magic of reading and how fundamental books are to growth and inspiration. The approach is more illustrative and simple, with swirl, flower, and star elements chosen to represent the “magic of reading” and the freedom it gives to young readers, as well as bright colors to further emphasize the childlike energy, while maintaining a structured composition. The recurring motifs like the blue jay, book tags, and abstractive elements, help maintain the cohesiveness of the posters as well, to encourage young children to read in order to grow their minds.
